After feeling really down last night, I'd stuck on "The Playlist" that me, Phil & Hendrik had made and I was soon cheered up. Bridge over Troubled Water and then Solitude by Black Sabbath saw to that. I set off walking at 6 and before I knew it I'd reached Feshie Bridge. After this all the paths looked much the same, Forest paths and roads through trees, luckily it was cooler than yesterday. I ditched the Sealskinz socks which made my feet feel a bit fresher

TGO Challenge – Day 5
Before I write about the day I will say from the start, I'm laid here feeling sorry for myself and quite upset. I suppose I better explain why first. I'm laid in the shelter with blisters on top of blisters. I've walked 23 miles (5 more than planned) in weather that you would be lucky to get in July/August, it was 24c in the shade, but felt hotter in direct sun. I started walking at 6:45, but was in no rush due to hoping
TGO Challenge – Day 4

My phone began to chime as reception returned, I started to read the messages and followed the main track (wrong one). Luckily
TGO Challenge – Day 1
I decided to have a late start for my first day on the challenge, I only had to walk about 13 miles. So I set off from the Kintail Lodge Hotel at 9:30, after most people had already left. There was a woman in a bit of a flap over her partners pack not being comfortable and asked some guy for help. I walked down to the shore and dipped my toe in the water and picked up a shell as a souvenir. I made
