Routes: My Way

One of my (many) problems in the past was that I held onto masses of paper work, magazines and lots of other stuff. A couple of years ago I started using Evernote which to quote their Website "Makes it easy to remember things big and small from your notable life using your computer, phone, and the web". Taking a back seat - Coledale

Last weekend I intended to just stay at home and possibly walk somewhere local due to a lack of funds. Helen Fisher clearly finds my company so amazing that she insisted on driving me to the Lake District. I decided that I would take an entirely back seat and let her plan the entire weekend, we've only walked together 3 times before but I've planned the route on each occasion. In general for the last few years I have tended to plan the routes I walk

I am not sure whether it was me constantly talking about my trips or he thinks he may bump into Julia Bradbury that got him out there again (possibly a midlife

The Roof of Britain by a Knife Edge - Ben Nevis

Ben Nevis probably the most well known mountain in the UK, due to its lofty position 4409 feet, the highest point in Britain. I've walked the Ben twice before both times with others which prevented me from going the route I would like. The "Tourist route" is a long trudge and not a route I would recommend, other than to descend unless your aim is just to say you've done it and tick it off. The route that has kept me awake at night dreaming of
